Each IN-14 Nixie tube shows one glowing digit. The number climbs as your following grows, refreshed every 60 seconds. The more tubes in the range, the higher the ceiling: 9,999 on the Mini, 999,999 on the Standard, and more on the Pro.

With the Signature option, a row of mechanical flaps under the tubes spells out the label, for example SUB YT or SUB IG. The flap row is shorter than the tube row and centred beneath it. You see at a glance what the device is counting.

An N8N webhook rather than a fragile API
Let's be precise, because many counters sold online aren't: YouTube, Twitch and Instagram aren't wired to the device through an official real-time link. The numbers travel through an N8N webhook, an open-source automation tool that queries the platforms and pushes the value to your Pulse.
It's a choice of robustness. Social platforms close or restrict their public APIs without notice, and counters that depend on them directly end up as frozen ornaments. Routing through N8N decouples your device from those decisions. When a platform changes its rules, the workflow adapts and the display keeps running. The same mechanism opens the door to any other source: your shop, your SaaS, your crypto wallet.

How does the counter pull my YouTube, Twitch or Instagram numbers?
The figures travel through an N8N webhook, not an official real-time link to the platforms. It's a deliberate choice for robustness: social networks change or revoke their public APIs regularly, and counters that depend on them directly stop working overnight. With N8N, the flow stays under your control: if a platform changes its rules, we adapt the workflow and the device keeps displaying. Data refreshes every 60 seconds by default.
How is this different from a Smiirl or a LaMetric?
Smiirl (around €400) and LaMetric ($199) show your followers on LEDs or modern electronics. Nixie Pulse shows them on genuine IN-14 Nixie tubes made in the USSR between 1970 and 1990, never used, certified by GRA & AFCH. Each unit is hand-assembled in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, near Paris. The positioning is deliberate: more expensive, from €990, for a connected collector's object rather than a gadget.
